Many of these coaches have won a lot of games, and one of them is Dean Smith. He has coached for the North Carolina Tar heels for thirty-two years, and has won 869 games in his lustrous career. Dean Smith took his teams to NCAA playoffs for seventy-seven simultaneous years, and the final four as well. He also scored several sweet sixteen appearances.
Dean Smith has coached many college basketball players during his career: James Worthy, Michael Jordan, Sam Perkins, and the list goes on and on. Many people also say that Dean Smith is a very nice person, outside basketball.
